Arts & graphic design at Delgado

I'm in school for design. Delgado Community College, New Orleans — type, grid, identity, screen work. This page grows as I produce pieces.

Why design, why now

I've spent years working with language — on sets, on the page, in interviews with actors about the craft. Design is the language I didn't have yet. After a culinary detour that taught me a lot about precision and composure under volume, I'm back to building tools for communication, this time visual ones.

What I'm working on

Coursework in progress. As pieces ship, they'll land here with brief case-note framing: problem, approach, what I'd do differently next time.

Portfolio pieces

Coming soon

Early program — building foundations in typography and grid before anything is ready for public critique. Check back.

Interim — what I can already do

While the design portfolio is under construction, my published writing and acting credits represent a decade of craft across adjacent fields. A lot of what I'm learning in design — hierarchy, rhythm, restraint — is what I've been doing on the page already.

Open to entry-level or junior design projects that value writerly instincts as much as visual ones. Get in touch.
